Consulting engagements run to a fixed scope and timeline, with several workstreams, stakeholder interviews and a final report. Consultants move between clients, and when the engagement's working notes sit in personal folders, the team cannot see what has already been learnt.

How consultancies set up Tandem App

  1. Create #eng-castleton-ops-review for the client and #castleton-team for internal hypotheses and draft findings.
  2. Lay out the workstreams on the task board with labels: Discovery, Analysis, Recommendations, and add each stakeholder interview as a task with a date.
  3. Keep interview notes, data requests and the evolving report in Docs folders, and comment on drafts in place.
  4. Pin the agreed scope and the steering meeting dates in the client channel.

Clients and outside people

Client stakeholders join as Chat only guests in the engagement channel, with an end date at the close of the engagement. Associates or subcontracted specialists can join the internal channel as Full access guests.

What it costs

Tandem App is free for up to 3 users. Paid plans are charged per user (owners, admins and members) from $1.99 a month, and guests are free: 5 for every paid user. Every feature is on every plan. See pricing.
