Tandem App is run by the operator of Tandem App ("we", "us"). For the content inside a workspace, the organisation that owns the workspace decides how it is used, and we process it on their behalf.

1.What we hold

• Account details: your name, email address and a hash of your password (never the password itself).
• What you put into a workspace: messages, tasks, comments and files.
• Security records: sign-ins, invitations and changes to people's access, with the IP address and browser they came from.
• If you switch on browser notifications, the address your browser gives us for delivering them.
• If you write to us through the contact form: your name, email address, company, message and IP address.
• For paid plans, card details are held by our payment provider, not by us.

2.What we use it for

To run the service, keep it secure, send the emails it needs (invitations, password resets, and notification summaries you have not switched off), answer your enquiries, and bill for paid plans. We do not sell personal data, show advertising, or use workspace content to train anything.

3.Who else is involved

Our hosting provider, the service that delivers our emails, our payment provider (Stripe) for paid plans, and, only if you switch on notifications, your browser's push service. Each receives only what it needs.

4.Cookies and local storage

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms. Your light or dark theme choice on this website is remembered in your browser's own storage and never sent to us. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.

5.How long we keep it

For as long as your account or workspace exists. Unfinished sign-ups are deleted within about nine days. When an owner closes a workspace, everything in it is deleted 14 days later (so a mistake can be undone), and copies in backups expire within two weeks after that. Contact-form messages are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry.

6.Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used. For content inside a workspace, please ask that workspace's owner first; owners can also export the whole workspace themselves.
