Property managers handle a stream of repair reports, contractor visits, inspections and landlord questions across many properties. When each job lives in a phone call and an email, nobody can say whether the boiler at Flat 4 was ever fixed.

How property management companies set up Tandem App

  1. Create a channel per building or portfolio, such as #prop-victoria-court, and a #maintenance-requests channel where the team logs each reported issue.
  2. Turn each reported issue into a task with the flat number in the title, a priority (urgent for leaks and no heating) and the contractor as assignee.
  3. Keep gas certificates, inspection reports and photos from visits in Docs folders per property.
  4. Use a workflow to post "Quarterly inspections due this month" in each building channel on a schedule.

Clients and outside people

Contractors are Full access guests in the channels for the buildings they cover, so they can update their own tasks. Landlords can be Read only guests in their building's channel.

What it costs

Tandem App is free for up to 3 users. Paid plans are charged per user (owners, admins and members) from $1.99 a month, and guests are free: 5 for every paid user. Every feature is on every plan. See pricing.
