An architecture project moves through stages, from concept to planning to technical design, with structural engineers, planning consultants and clients all involved. Without a shared place, comments on drawings come in by email and the team responds to an out-of-date set.

- Lay out the stage tasks: "Concept options", "Pre-app submission", "Planning drawings", "Technical package", with due dates and owners.
- Store drawing issues in Docs folders by stage and revision, and ask the client to comment on the PDF or image preview.
- Use polls with the client to choose between material or layout options, and pin the result.
Clients and outside people
Clients join the project channel as Chat only guests. Structural engineers and other consultants join the design channel with Full access, ending when their appointment does.
