An event brings together a client, a venue, caterers, AV and decorators, all working to one date. Changes to numbers or timings must reach every supplier, and when they go by separate emails, someone always works from the old version.

How event planners set up Tandem App

  1. Create #event-hartley-wedding with the client and #hartley-suppliers for suppliers.
  2. Build the timeline on the task board: "Final numbers to caterer", "AV walk-through", "Table plan agreed", each with a due date.
  3. Keep the run sheet, floor plan and supplier contracts in Docs.
  4. Schedule reminders to suppliers a week and a day before the event.

Clients and outside people

Suppliers are Chat only guests in the supplier channel with an end date shortly after the event. The client is a Chat only guest in their own channel.

What it costs
