Student committees change every year, and each new committee starts with little idea of what the last one did. Event plans, sponsor contacts and budgets disappear with graduating members.

  1. Create #committee, #events and #sponsorship, and keep decisions in threads with the outcome pinned.
  2. Plan each event on the task board with a checklist for room booking, risk assessment and promotion.
  3. Keep the constitution, budget and sponsor contacts in Docs so they pass to next year's committee.
  4. Use the Free plan for up to 3 users if the committee is small, or a paid plan for larger committees.

Clients and outside people

Society members can be Read only guests in #announcements, and sponsors can be Chat only guests in a sponsor channel with an end date.
